I had to go shopping today to get Ally Harper something that said "big sister", but instead I decided on this plain white dress and the lady at Funky Monkey was nice enough to go ahead and monogram it this afternoon for me! I I'm also glad I decided to say "I'm gonna be a Big Sister" instead of just 'Big Sister" Then after I got home I added the ribbon and bows myself. I thought it turned out really cute (or maybe I'm just partial because Ally's wearing it!)

Old McAlly had a farm, EIEIO....

I found the cutest little farm animals at Target the other day & Ally loves them. They had both small and large ones, but all the small ones have a button to press on their stomach and they make sounds! Too cute.

Ally Harper loves to get her hands on the warm towels as soon as they come from the dryer! All warm and toasty!

Happy Birthday Preston!

We celebrated our nephew, Preston's, 16th birthday this evening. Can you tell from the photo who thought "she" was the center of attention?

We have been visiting Ms. Cynthia every week for a little while and yesterday I happened to have the camera. Isn't that a great photo? I think I buy Cynthia a frame and give it to her for her upcoming b-day!

More bathtime fun!

Earlier this week while giving Ally her bath, I got her to lie down in the tub. This was the first time for her to do this. She always sits up while I rinse her hair & such. Well anyway, you should see how careful she is when preparing for her descent! First thing she usually does is clear out the area behind her so she doesn't lay on anything, then she carefully lays back, until she has rested her head on the bottom. Then she looks so relaxed, she just lays there & looks around.

A princess and her carriage

I rearranged Ally's room this week and moved her rocking horse and carriage from the corner to another space in the room and now she plays on it more often. The only problem is when she tries to get off, she only swings one leg over and then gets wedged in between the handle and the carriage. She loves her horse and has learned that a horse says "neigh". I honestly think she learns something new everyday.

Happy Valentine's Day

Hope everyone had a great Valentine's day! I know I did, not only did I get roses from my wonderful sweetheart, I also got new area rugs for my kitchen and breakfast room!!!

Here is Brooklyn and Ally Harper together at Brooklyn's class party, and then later on we checked out Brooklyn's friend, Savannah, and we all went to see Confessions of a Shopaholic. It was cute.

Have you ever seen a smile so cute? I feel like one of the luckiest mom's in the world because I get to see this smiling face all the time!

This is the help I get when I'm cleaning house. Ally Harper decide since I had emptied out Brooklyn's scok drawer to sort thru things, that she could rest there for a few minutes!
Ally also enjoyed going to Brooklyn's Valentine's Party at school. I think she felt like such a big girl. She wanted to sit in the student's chairs :)

Welcome Warm Weather--

We have really been taking advantage of the warm weather for the past week. We have been strolling around the neighborhood, going to Renaissance and strolling and shopping, playing outside, going to the park!! It's so nice to be able to spend this time with the girls.
