We had another monthly dr. appointment today and it was exciting. I knew I probably wasn't scheduled for a sono this time, but Pam, the sonographer, had told me last time that if he didn't schedule me for one, that she was do a quick scan to determine sex if she could. So while they were taking my vital signs I asked if I was having a sonogram today and the nurse said no, so then I asked her if she could see if Pam was busy. So they were able to sneak us (me, Chris and Brooklyn) back and Pam made good on her promise. Immediately, she was able to see the sex! She didn't do any measuring or anything, we just found out what it is and got a fews pics. After we were done, we went to a room to wait for the doctor. When he came in, he did his thing, then said that he would see us again in a month. During that visit, we would have another sonogram and we would do all the fun stuff, like finding out the sex and such :) Chris, Brooklyn & I just looked at each other and smiled. Pam had not written on the chart that she had done a scan. We got a big kick out of it after we left. So needless to say, we'll have to act surprised again next month! But I am so thankful that Pam did that for us, because now I can start planning more. Oh yeah, did I mention that Chris has a little back up entering the world this Fall. We found out today that new baby Neyland is a BOY!!! I really can't believe it. I just figured that we were meant to have all girls, especially since Chris' sisters have always said that would be the case!!! But it looks like Ally Harper and Brooklyn will be having a little brother! Now the planning starts. Part 2 of the OCD Nursery Planner is in effect!

Sorry for the quality of pic's I had to take a snapshot of the actual pictures, but at least you can see HIM!!!

Trip to the zoo.

The day before Mother's Day, Ally Harper got to visit the Jackson Zoo for the first time. It was a great day for the trip. She had a good time, but I think we may be spoiled. We visited the National Zoo in D.C. last year, and no where could ever live up to that one! But all in all we enjoyed the day together.

Look what we found in our garage!

We have several wild cats in the neighborhood and recently saw a mama cat moving her kittens to somewhere behind our house. Well last week, there was a horrible stinch in the garage and Chris saw where the was cat poop in there. So instead of leaving the door open in the daytime, I started shutting it. Well the other night Chris was out with the dog and he heard that mama cat meowing loudly at the garage door. She was wanting to get back into the garage. So we opened the door and she ran in and went straight to her 3 babies hidden in the corner!!! So we left them alone, gave mama some milk and left a crack in the garage door so she can come and go. Well the next day when Brooklyn came home she was excited about seeing the kittens and you would know, mama cat had moved them! Just her luck. Well just a few minutes ago, as I was taking the trash out, what did stumble upon right at my garage entrance, but 3 baby kittens. So Brooklyn has since been holding them and has already named them. Their names are Marie, Berlioz, and Toulouse from the Aristocats! I told her that the mama will probably move them again, so who knows what to expect next time we open the door.

I was cleaning out the pantry the other day and this is what Ally Harper confiscated and what she did with it!

Rebels take series from Georgia!!!!

We spent the weekend in Oxford and had such beautiful weather. We enjoyed Double Decker on Saturday before going to the game and watching the Rebels win against the Georgia Bulldogs.

Brooklyn gets bored sometimes at the games, so here she is coloring with Ally Harper's stuff.
Ally and daddy cheering on the Rebs!

Sunday morning we got up bright & early because Ally Harper woke everyone up around 5:30, so we made her a pallet on the floor so she could watch cartoons. After about 5 minutes she decided to come climb in bed with me, and before she made it that far, she tripped on a pillow and headbutted the hotel nightstand! The sound was horrible. Immediately, a huge knot popped up on her forehead and we put ice on it. It was by far her worse injury to date! Chris went to Walmart for some Tylenol and while he was gone, she vomited. We got the doctor on the phone and they told us things to watch for. She ended up being okay, with the exception of the monsterous knot and bruise. So after an eventful morning, we were able to get everyone back to sleep for a while, then we went outside to the Grove and enjoyed the wonderful weather. Brooklyn had a great time laying in the grass reading and Ally enjoyed running around everywhere!

At the game that afternoon, someone went as long as they could before finally giving it up during the 7th inning!

12 Weeks and growing.....

We had a doctor's appointment yesterday, and we got to have another sonogram. How amazing is it that babies grow as fast as they do? Even after doing this two times before, I am still in awe of how God grows this miracle so fast. We could see hands, feet, spine, face, everything.... Pam even thought she would be able to tell the sex, but baby was being modest. Which I was a little relieved :) I do want to find out what it is, but yesterday seemed too early, and I would have hated for her to be wrong, so we'll wait another month before finding out.

Getting ready for Baby Anna

I helped my friend, Randa, with a baby shower Saturday night, and we had such a good time. Sam & Katherine Newsom (works at Trustmark on Lakeland) from Brandon are expecting their first in July. We played some great games, and look how cute the diaper cake I made turned out. I was very pleased.

95th Birthday Celebration for Frances Hederi

Saturday, we celebrated Chris' grandmother's 95th birthday. How amazing is that? She is amazing!! We had family to fly fly in and had a great time visiting with everyone.

Taking time to smell the flowers!

As one of her gifts, she got a memory book that contained photos from when she was a child until now. It was awesome. Thanks Frannie for doing such a wonderful job.

She did a really good job with finding eggs, or should I say picking up eggs. They were just thrown in the yard. Jonathan, her 6 y/o cousin, thought they were hidden to easy!!!

Hotty Toddy Birthday John Pitner!

We went to Oxford a couple of weeks ago for a baseball game and John Pitner's party. Ally had such a great time playing in the yard with all of his toys. She especially liked swinging like a big girl on the swing set!
